Happy Christmas Everyone. It sounds a bit chilly in the UK just now. Mind you the temperature here dropped from 25 to a wet and chilly 13! We now have a phone and broad band - if anyone needs the number ask one of our relatives or email me. Wendy is still enjoying work, I got a job yesterday as a researcher at the University and Tom and Maya are enjoying day 2 of their 7week holiday. Before the break up Maya played Mary in her class nativity, one of the parents suggested that she might have had post natal depression after dropping the baby Jesus on the floor when she had finished with him. Big thanks to the Barker family who sent us a food parcel of chocolate and goodies - it was very well received. We have been invited out for a Christmas lunch barbeque and then Wendy is working 2.30 'till 11! Being away has made us very aware of how fortunate we are to have such special family and friends - thanks for your interest and support; it is of enormous value to us. May you experience both peace and joy this Christmas time.

Hello Dave, Wendy Tom and Maya, great to see the photo's and hear all your news. It sounds much more peaceful there than here. With 2 boys we dont seem to be having too much peace and goodwill here. Good to hear about the job Dave I suppose your sabatical could only last so long before you joined the world of work again. I have 2 weeks off now, we are going up to Edinburgh to see my brother and his family for New Year so that should be good. We will try and email you using Wendy's email address and see if we can get in touch. hope you have a great Christmas, take care.

Hi Guys,
Glad everything seems to be coming together so well - shame you had to get a job Dave - still, I remain a kept man!

Send me your email - can't get my head around writing on a blog - too many people to wind up/offend!

Am thinking of you guys a lot - you are missed - not just this Christmas, but all the time.

much love
