Maya's 7th Birthday

At 4am this morning Maya presented herself in our bedroom asking if it was morning and if she could open her presents. We held her off until 6.45am, when our bed was invaded by her and Tom, together with a box from Granny Grace and presents from us. Soon Granny Grace was on the phone to join in the birthday celebrations, then off to school with a cake for the class. She apparently had " the best day ever at school" - bring your bike day! And then won the student of term award for her swimming class and got to go on the giant hydro slides. Next a special birthday tea, followed by a phone call from Uncle Richie and Siobhan - she has now flopped into bed - no wonder!

I've not done much blogging lately(too much studying!), we've had some really nice days out and unseasonably warm weather.
