'Lads and Dads' Camp

Tom and I are just home from a church camp at Whare Flat. The lads and dads really enjoyed it. The camp is in a wonderful location just 20 minutes out of Dunedin, but with the feel that you really are in the wilderness. Friday night was taken up with games involving running around in the dark and using torches. Tom took of advantage of a muddy puddle to black up his face to avoid detection - why didn't I think of that?
Today we spent a couple of hours walking out into the bush, had a game of bull rush (British Bulldog) and then ended the day with a dads versus sons water fight - happy days! There is now talk of running and dads and daughters camp.
