Long Beach
After attending the ICU staff children's Christmas party we went on to our friend Mikey's birthday celebration on Long Beach. We had a great time with a gang of friends: Mike S set up a climb for the children, we had a camp fire, and Josh and I were in the sea till past 7pm. Wendy signalled to us that a sea lion was coming to join us, at which point I was quite keen to enjoy the camp fire! The sea lion was a smallish one - nevertheless I had Maya's bright pink body board (which I was using) at the ready to put between us.
