Whaleless Waikouaiti

We had been told that whales had been sighted in the bay at Waikouaiti this week. Apparently they had young with them and were seen to be jumping right out the water. The Copland, Donkin, Park families and ourselves decided it was worth a look, so we drove up there this afternoon. Unfortunately, we didn't see much more than the odd seagull, but we had a great time. The children did lots of digging, climbing and running around the place, optimistically scanned the ocean.
